Biography
The story behind the work
My journey into programming wasn't exactly love at first sight.
At school, we spent months drawing flowcharts without writing a single line of code. At university, programming meant C++, solving abstract mathematical problems, and sometimes even writing code on paper. None of it made programming feel particularly exciting.
Years later, after building software and working with data across different projects in Europe, I began to see how differently programming could be taught.
That's what inspired me to write my books. I wanted to explain complex concepts through everyday situations, practical examples, and colorful illustrations — making programming something you can explore and enjoy, rather than just memorize.
For me, the goal isn't simply to teach Python syntax. It's to help readers understand how programs work, why certain solutions make sense, and how to think like a developer.
Experience & perspective
My experience in software engineering and my passion for making programming accessible shape both my professional work and the educational books I create.
- Professional background
My professional experience spans Python development, backend engineering, data engineering, and distributed systems. I've worked on software and data projects in international teams across Europe, building and maintaining systems used in real-world environments.
This hands-on experience shapes how I approach technical problems and explain programming concepts.
- Writing & teaching
I believe learning programming should be engaging, practical, and accessible. My books combine clear explanations, real-life examples, hands-on exercises, and colorful pop-art illustrations.
Rather than asking readers to memorize code, I encourage them to experiment, make mistakes, and understand why things work.
